Rules of Play

Keep Zerynia fair

A short set of rules that keep the game fair and the chat friendly. Break them and you risk your account. If you are ever unsure, ask on the Feedback page.

Play fair

Zerynia is meant to be played by hand. Win with better gear, a smarter build, and time, not shortcuts.

Do not:

  • Use bots, macros, auto-clickers, or scripts that play for you.
  • Use outside tools that read or change the game, or send fake requests to the servers.
  • Lean on a bug to gain gold, items, levels, or any edge.

Play the game the way it works in front of you.

One account each

Keep to a single account. Extra accounts, often called alts, spoil the game for everyone else.

Do not:

  • Make a second account to feed gold or items to your main one.
  • Use alts to pad a clan, climb a leaderboard, or stack a boss fight.
  • Make a fresh account to dodge a suspension or ban.

One player, one account. If people in your home share a connection and each want to play, tell us first on the Feedback page.

Your account is yours

Your login belongs to you. Guard it.

Do not:

  • Share your password or log in on someone's behalf.
  • Buy, sell, or trade accounts.
  • Log into an account that is not yours.
Use a password you use nowhere else. No one on the team will ever ask you for it. If a message asks for your password, it is not from us.

No real-money trading

Keep real money out of trades between players. Gold, items, and accounts carry no cash price.

Do not:

  • Sell or buy in-game gold, items, or accounts for real money.
  • Swap your progress for anything outside the game.

The one place real money meets the game is the Shop, where you buy Zeryium from us to spend in Zerynia. That is it. No player sells you gold or gear for cash.

Trade honestly

The market and player trades run on trust.

Do not:

  • Back out of or fake a trade to cheat someone.
  • Talk another player into a bad deal with lies.
  • Promise one thing and hand over another.

Say what you mean, and give what you promised.

Be decent in chat

Chat is shared space. Keep it worth reading.

Do not:

  • Post hate, slurs, threats, or anything that attacks people for who they are.
  • Harass or bully another player, or follow them around to bother them.
  • Spam, flood the channel, or advertise other sites and services.
  • Pretend to be a staff member or another player.

Disagree all you want, but keep it civil.

Found a bug? Tell us

Bugs happen. What you do next is what counts.

  • Report anything odd on the Feedback page.
  • Do not use a bug for gain while it lasts. That is cheating.
Telling us about an exploit helps every player, and it keeps you clear of trouble. Quietly milking one does the opposite.

Don't attack the game

The servers are shared by every player. Do not go after them.

Do not:

  • Flood, overload, or try to break into any part of the game.
  • Probe the game's requests looking for holes to slip through.

If you spot a security hole, tell us on the Feedback page. Do not test it against live players.

If you break a rule

We would rather you keep playing than lose your account, so most first slips get a warning. Serious or repeat breaks cost more.

Depending on what you did, you might get:

  • A warning.
  • A temporary suspension.
  • A permanent ban, with your progress and purchases gone for good.

The team makes the call, and the call is final. If you think we got it wrong, write to us on the Feedback page and we will take another look.

These rules can change as the game grows. Big changes show up on the Updates page.
